Juan Vicente Perez Mora, certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest man, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 114, as confirmed by officials and relatives. Recognized by Guinness on February 4, 2022, when he was 112 years and 253 days old, Perez leaves behind an extraordinary legacy. A father of 11, he boasted 41 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren as of 2022. Fondly known as Tio Vicente, the farmer hails from the town of El Cobre in the Andean state of Tachira. He was born on May 27, 1909, as the ninth child among 10 siblings. His remarkable lifespan serves as an inspiration and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
