AI is rapidly making its place in the world; from this year itself, we have to try to connect Indian school children with AI education. I urge our educationists to prepare age-appropriate, AI-embedded textbooks—we need an exponential jump, not an incremental reform,” Pradhan stated. He stressed that integrating AI and machine learning with Indian languages would serve as a force multiplier in education.

Pradhan also underscored the significance of learning in one’s mother tongue, stating that it strengthens children’s foundational understanding. He called for innovative approaches to promote Indian languages, noting that even market forces are leveraging them. Highlighting India’s achievements like Chandrayaan, Akash, and BrahMos, he emphasized the strength of the country’s education system and the need to focus more on research.

Furthermore, Pradhan mentioned the reformation of the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) to align with national priorities, aiming to connect every section of society with this initiative. He expressed confidence that integrating Indian languages with technology under the National Education Policy would soon reach every district and school in the country.
