The Axiom-4 mission, which was supposed to take four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), has been delayed once again. The reason for the delay is a liquid oxygen (LOX) leak found in the Falcon 9 rocket, which is built by SpaceX. The launch was originally scheduled for June 5, but now it has been postponed until the issue is fully resolved.
This mission is special because it includes Shubhanshu Shukla, a payload operations director from India. The Axiom-4 mission is a part of a private space program that involves NASA, SpaceX, and Axiom Space. The crew will stay on the ISS for 14 days to conduct research and science experiments.
SpaceX announced that they are working to repair the leak and will share a new launch date soon. They said safety is the top priority.
