Khamenei Warns Israel as US Tensions Rise

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a bold warning to Israel as tensions in the Middle East continue to rise. In a message posted on social media platform X, he declared, “The battle begins. Ali returns to Khaybar.” This is his first public statement since former US President Donald Trump demanded Iran’s unconditional surrender.

The phrase “Ali returns to Khaybar” refers to a famous battle in the 7th century where Imam Ali defeated a Jewish fortress. By using this reference, Khamenei is sending a powerful message of resistance and determination. He followed up with another strong statement, saying, “We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show the Zionists no mercy.”
The Israel-Iran conflict has now entered its sixth straight day, with both sides continuing to launch missile strikes. Meanwhile, Trump reacted sharply on his platform, Truth Social, claiming that the US has the best military technology and knows where Khamenei is hiding. However, he added, “We are not going to take him out… for now,” suggesting that military action is still on the table. Trump also warned that “our patience is wearing thin” and once again called for “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
In response to the escalating situation, the United States has strengthened its military presence in the Middle East by sending additional fighter jets and warplanes to the region.
