The final match, where India triumphed over New Zealand in Dubai, became the most-watched game in the tournament’s history, drawing 65.3 billion live viewing minutes globally.

In India, the tournament’s success was bolstered by inclusive and multilingual coverage across 29 channels in nine languages, including Indian Sign Language and audio descriptive commentary, making it the most-watched Champions Trophy ever in the country.

The 2025 final now ranks as the third most-watched ICC match globally by live watch time, following the India vs. New Zealand semi-final and the India vs. Australia final from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

This surge in viewership underscores the growing global interest in cricket and the effectiveness of inclusive broadcasting strategies.
