At KWS, Ahmedabad, this festival was celebrated on 8th August 2025 with great pomp and heartfelt enthusiasm. Students from across grades participated in various activities that highlighted the cultural and emotional significance of the day.

The highlight of this year’s celebration was the creation of a historic rakhi, crafted on the school’s natural campus. Measuring an astonishing 22 feet in diameter and 100 feet in length, this colossal rakhi stood as a symbol of unity and creativity — a first-of-its-kind in any educational institution. Unveiled at 10:00 AM, the rakhi drew admiration from all corners as several schools were invited to witness the awe-inspiring display.
Visitors, including dignitaries and school representatives, were captivated by the scale and artistic brilliance of the rakhi. The appreciation and accolades received for this record-setting effort filled the entire KWS family with immense pride.
The event was graced by Mr. Pawan Kumar Sindhi as the Chief Guest, who expressed his amazement at witnessing such a grand and meaningful representation of the festival. Ms. Renu Dave, Principal of KWS, extended a warm welcome to all guests and dignitaries, acknowledging the spirit of collaboration and celebration.
