Asian Aquatics Championship (Sep–Oct 2025) with top swimmers from powerhouses like China, Japan, and South Korea.
AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers (Nov 22–30, 2025) at The Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad, featuring teams like India, Iran, Palestine, Chinese Taipei, and Lebanon.

Archery Asia Para Cup (world-ranking tournament).
2029:
World Police & Fire Games (WPFG), to be held across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Ekta Nagar, Kevadia. The games are expected to see participation from over 10,000 athletes representing 70+ countries, marking Gujarat as the first South Asian host of this biennial event.
These carefully staged events not only showcase Gujarat’s readiness to host elite international competitions but also strategically support its longterm bid to attract the 2030 Commonwealth Games and ultimately the 2036 Summer Olympics.
