These revamped platforms are designed to serve as centralized hubs, offering real-time access to essential educational resources such as resolutions, policies, circulars, scholarship details, government schemes, and ongoing initiatives within the sector. Minister Patel emphasized that this move aligns with the states’ long-term “Viksit Bharat @2047” and “Viksit Gujarat @2047” visions and demonstrates the government’s commitment to enhancing digital infrastructure for effective governance and service delivery.
Minister Pansheriya added that the upgraded portals will make scholarship programmes, policies, and new educational initiatives more accessible to students and stakeholders, thereby promoting inclusivity across the educational ecosystem.
The nine websites relaunched include the portals of:
Commissioner of Higher Education
NCC Directorate
Directorate of Primary Education
Directorate of Continuing Education and Literacy
State Examination Board
Gujarat Institute of Educational Technology
Gujarat State School Textbook Board
Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training
This development is part of the wider 2025–26 Gujarat state budget that earmarked ₹59,999 crore for education—covering initiatives like Mission Schools of Excellence, Namo Lakshmi Yojana, RTE provisions, AI labs, and scholarships—reflecting the state’s strategy to modernize and strengthen its educational landscape
