The District Education Officer (DEO) has issued notices to Udgam School for Children, Sattva Vikas School, and Somlalit School for not adhering to the FRC (Fee Regulation Committee) rule regarding pre-primary schools. According to FRC guidelines, pre-primary schools operating on the same campus or under the same trust as a formal school must be registered with the FRC and follow an approved fee structure.

Udgam School has obtained FRC approval for its pre-primary section, which is implemented at one branch. However, it is under scrutiny for failing to apply the approved fee structure across its other branches. Managing Trustee Mr. Manan Choksi stated that the pre-primary section is managed by a separate trust, but DEO Mr. Rohit Chaudhary questioned this claim and is awaiting further clarification.
Sattva Vikas School has only secured FRC approval for its primary section but not for its pre-primary section. Somlalit School is being investigated for reportedly charging fees higher than the FRC-approved amount.
The DEO’s inquiry is ongoing, and more schools may come under review. Authorities stress that school fees must be transparent, justified, and not unreasonably high.
