DPS Gandhinagar Hosts CBSE Cluster XIII Table Tennis Tournament 2025

Gandhinagar, July 29 — Delhi Public School (DPS) Gandhinagar played host to the CBSE Cluster XIII Table Tennis Tournament 2025 from July 25 to 28, bringing together young paddlers from 43 schools across the West Zone. With approximately 260 participants competing in various categories, the event proved to be a vibrant celebration of skill, determination, and teamwork.

The tournament commenced with a grand opening ceremony attended by notable dignitaries. Dr. Arpita Pandya, a renowned physiotherapist, national-level cyclist, and marathoner, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She was joined by Dr. Ketan Pandya, Associate Professor at SBB College of Physiotherapy, who served as Guest of Honour. Mr. Aashish Jha, CBSE Observer, lent his support and expertise, contributing significantly to the smooth execution and overall success of the event.

Participants competed in individual and team events across age categories—Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19—for both boys and girls. The tournament witnessed intense matches, cheered on by school teams, coaches, and spectators.

The overall championship title was clinched by Delhi Public School, Surat. Anand Vidya Vihar, Vadodara, secured the second position, while Amarchand Singhvi International School, Kutch, stood third overall.

The four-day sporting event not only highlighted emerging talent in table tennis but also promoted the core values of sportsmanship, discipline, and healthy competition among students. Organizers and attendees hailed the tournament as a resounding success, reflecting the growing emphasis on sporting excellence in the school ecosystem.
