In a serene and spirited celebration, CCIS Green Campus observed International Yoga Day 2025 with heartfelt enthusiasm and deep mindfulness. The entire school community—students, teachers, and staff—came together on this special day to embrace the timeless practice of Yoga, a gift from India to the world.
The morning began with a calm yet energizing session on our lush green campus, under the golden warmth of the sun. The session was expertly led by Ms. Moumita Ghose, a certified yoga instructor from Patanjali, who brought both knowledge and inspiration to the mat. With her gentle guidance, students performed a series of rejuvenating asanas (postures), breathing exercises, and meditation techniques that invigorated both body and mind. 🧎♀️✨
🌞 Students not only participated with joy and discipline but also engaged in understanding the science behind each pose, learning how yoga enhances flexibility, reduces stress, boosts concentration, and fosters emotional balance. For many, it was more than just physical activity—it was a journey inward, towards peace and self-awareness.
The event wasn’t just about stretching muscles; it was about stretching our mindset—towards healthier choices, inner calm, and the harmony between humanity and nature. It reminded us that yoga is not just an ancient tradition but a modern necessity, helping us live more consciously in our fast-paced world.
This celebration was a powerful reminder of our school’s commitment to holistic development—nurturing not just intellect, but also wellness, balance, and inner joy. 💚🕊️
