In a spirit of collaboration and collective vision, principals from CBSE-affiliated schools in Vadodara convened at Delhi Public School on August 12, 2025, to inaugurate the Shrijan Sahodaya School Complex, marking the city’s second Sahodaya cluster. The Sahodaya model, a flagship initiative of the CBSE, aims to foster inter-school cooperation and shared learning among educational institutions in a region.

The inauguration was an opportunity for school leaders to align on a forward-looking roadmap to elevate educational quality. They deep-dived into the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP), strategies to enhance skill education, and approaches to reinforce ethical and moral grounding—all while supporting the holistic development of students.

Key officebearers of the new complex include DPS Principal A. K. Sinha as President, Bhavans School Principal R. K. Singhal serving as Secretary, Ambe School Manjalpur Principal Shyambabu Shukla taking on the role of Treasurer, and Baselios Public School Principal Nidhi Singhal as a member. District Education Officer Mahesh Pandey and Ashutosh Biswal, the Dean of Education and Psychology at M.S. University of Baroda, were also present to lend their support.

Sinha explained that the Shrijan Sahodaya Complex is founded on CBSE’s philosophy of “rising together,” encouraging institutions to transcend individual boundaries in pursuit of larger educational goals. The complex plans to drive structured, year-long collaborative initiatives, spanning teacher training, “non-competitive” inter-school and student activities, designed to foster partnership rather than rivalry.

As the Shrijan Sahodaya Complex begins its journey, Vadodara’s CBSE schools are poised to chart a cohesive path in nurturing innovative, skill-focused education grounded in values and mutual growth.
