CBSE Class 12 Results 2025 Declared: 88.39% Pass, Girls Outshine Boys Again

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 board examination results for 2025 today, recording an overall pass percentage of 88.39%. This reflects a modest increase from last year’s 87.33%.

Out of 16.9 lakh students who registered, 14.96 lakh successfully passed. Girls once again outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 91.52% compared to 85.12% for boys. The transgender category recorded a 100% pass rate.

Among the regions, Vijayawada topped the chart with a 99.60% pass rate, followed by Trivandrum and Chennai. In terms of school performance, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) continued their strong performance, scoring above the national average.
