CBSE Class 10 Math Paper More Challenging This Year

Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 Mathematics exam this year found it challenging. According to experts, the paper had more competency-based questions, which required logical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than just memorization.

Many students felt the paper was tougher than last year’s, especially the application-based and reasoning questions. Some found it time-consuming, while others said it tested their understanding of concepts well.
CBSE had earlier announced that board exams would focus more on real-life application and critical thinking. This year’s Math paper reflected that change, making students apply their knowledge rather than just recall formulas.
Experts believe that while the paper was tough, it was a good step towards improving students’ analytical skills. They advise future students to focus on understanding concepts deeply and practice different types of problems to be better prepared.
