Matthews took two wickets and then played a match-winning knock of 85* off 47 balls, guiding her team to victory with 26 balls to spare. Matthews formed a solid opening partnership with Qiana Joseph (38), adding 66 runs off 44 balls. After Joseph’s dismissal, Matthews continued her assault, combining with wicketkeeper Shermaine Campbell (29*) for a 95-run stand off just 44 balls to take the West Indies across the line.
