NASA has selected two astronauts for its sixth crew mission with SpaceX aboard its Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS). Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg have received the required permission for the mission to be launch in 2023 on a Falcon 9 rocket.
Hoburg will be the pilot and Bowen will serve as the spacecraft commander of the mission. Sixth crew is the first mission of Hoburg’s while, Bowen has been in the space thrice and was also selected as an astronaut in 2000 and he is the first submarine officer to hold the position. The Dragon Spacecraft will lift off from Launch Complex 39A at the NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.
