A hair growth treatment event in Meerut turned chaotic when a massive crowd gathered at Shaukat Banquet Hall in search of a baldness cure offered by Delhi-based practitioner Anees Mandola. The advertisement, promising hair regrowth for just Rs 20 per oil massage, attracted people from across India. The treatment, which costs Rs 300 for a bottle of oil, sparked a frenzy, leading to long lines and traffic disruptions as people waited for their turn.
The event, which was organized without permission from local authorities, saw attendees flocking to the Summer Garden area in Lisari Road. Due to the overwhelming turnout, the crowd spilled onto the road, disrupting traffic and prompting authorities to intervene. Despite the lack of official authorization, the organizers defended the gathering, claiming they could not obtain the necessary permissions. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of such unregulated health events and their potential impact on public order.
