Google introduces three new features in Maps to enhance user experience

Google unveiled a series of planned upgrades to its search and maps services revealing the company’s augmented reality ambitions- and its appeal to a generation of internet users drifting away from the company.On May 11, tech giant Google hosted a huge event called as Google I/O 2022 event. During the event, the tech giant introduced some new features for Maps. Google calls it a “whole new way to explore with Maps”. The company says that Immersive View will help users experience “what a neighbourhood, landmark, restaurant or popular venue is like and even feel like you are right there”.Google is working to keep its products relevant and growing as users’ needs evolve beyond text.
