Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the much-anticipated Ahmedabad International Flower Show 2025 at the scenic Sabarmati Riverfront, setting the stage for an enchanting celebration of nature, culture, and sustainability.
Accompanied by Health Minister Shri Rushikesh Patel and Minister of State for Cooperation Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma, the event showcased an array of exquisite flower sculptures, drawing admiration from dignitaries and visitors alike. The inauguration also marked the launch of the Tree Census and the unveiling of the Mission Three Million Trees Coffee Table Book, reinforcing Gujarat’s commitment to environmental preservation. This year’s event, which runs until January 22, 2025, boasts over 10 lakh flowers, 50+ species, and 30+ stunning sculptures, spread across six meticulously designed zones.
Each zone encapsulates themes of India’s rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and aspirations for a sustainable future, featuring attractions like the Konark Chakra, UNESCO Globe, and a vision of hosting the 2036 Olympics. Public participation has been a key focus, with audio-guided tours, QR codes, and a souvenir shop enriching the visitor experience. With enhanced offerings and record-breaking potential, the flower show serves as a vibrant platform to promote biodiversity, eco-friendly practices, and India’s unity in diversity, solidifying Ahmedabad’s reputation as a hub of environmental and cultural excellence.
