Ashirwad Hindi Higher Secondary School is under scrutiny after illegally collecting ₹800 as exam fees from students of classes 10 and 12. Acting on a student’s complaint filed through the “Sarthi Helpline”, the DEO sent a notice demanding a full refund and issued a warning to the school.
The DEO’s investigation revealed that the collection of additional fees was not authorized, and the school was instructed to immediately return the money to the affected students. In the notice, the DEO strongly condemned the illegal practice and warned the school of strict action, including possible penalties, if such activities were repeated in the future.
The DEO has encouraged others to use the “Sarthi Helpline” app to report any irregularities in schools, ensuring transparency and fairness in the education system.
