Honors his legacy of “Pratibaddhata” during centenary celebrations
Ahmedabad, 21st August 2025: The Zydus School for Excellence proudly celebrated its 23rd Founders’ Day, honoring its esteemed founder, Shri Ramanbhai Patel, a visionary who cherished having a centre for learning. Upholding its long-standing tradition, the school marked the occasion with elegance and grandeur.
This year’s celebration was particularly special as it coincided with the centenary of Shri Ramanbhai Patel. The celebrations reflected the core values of Shri Ramanbhai Patel, especially his unwavering commitment to innovation, moral values, the nation, excellence and society.
The function commenced with the ceremonial garlanding and lighting of the lamp by Chairman, Mr. Pankaj R. Patel, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. alongwith esteemed dignitaries.
This was followed by addresses from Mrs. Alka Murthy, Principal of Vejalpur campus, and Mrs. Jayshree Balasaria, Principal of Godhavi campus, who highlighted the significant accomplishments and milestones achieved by their schools over the past year.
In his address, Chairman Mr. Pankaj Patel recalled how the school was founded with inspiration from his father, Shri Ramanbhai Patel, who chose to dedicate his birthday not for celebration but for building an institution of learning. He emphasized that true legacy lies not in wealth but in creating something meaningful, and highlighted the school’s focus on nurturing curiosity beyond academics through music, photography, and other pursuits. The Chairman reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to quality education, discipline, respect, and integrity in all endeavours. He thanked teachers and parents for their efforts and extended his best wishes to the students, encouraging them to continue making the school proud.
Recognizing that teachers and students are the cornerstone of any educational institution, the school honored teachers for their dedicated service of 20, 15, and 10 years, with special recognition from Mr. Pankaj R. Patel. In addition, the Board toppers were specially felicitated during the function.
The felicitation ceremony was followed by a series of performances, including classical and semi-classical dances and a skit, each depicting the founder’s commitment to his guiding principles.
The function was attended by parents, student achievers and the entire staff making it a memorable and inspiring occasion.
