The much-awaited Balvatika Fun Carnival at Ahmedabad’s Kankaria Lakefront is all set to reopen on Friday, July 25, after a major redevelopment. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate the carnival at 6:30 PM, marking a new chapter for one of the city’s most loved family destinations.

The revamped Balvatika has been developed at a cost of ₹22 crore under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with Superstar Amusement Pvt. Ltd. It now boasts 28 unique activities, many of which are firsts in Gujarat or even India. These include India’s first transparent glass tower, Gujarat’s first wax museum, an Illusion House, Flying Theater, Mirror Maze, and a Dinosaur Park with moving, roaring dinos.

Families can also enjoy fun rides like go-karts, mud rides, and explore creative zones like the Coin House, Shoe House, Glow Station, and Selfie Points—all designed to make learning and leisure fun for kids.

The general entry fee is set at ₹50 per person, and while most attractions are included, premium experiences like the Snow Park are separately ticketed at ₹450. The park is located at Gate No. 5 of the Kankaria Lakefront and will operate during regular lakefront hours.

Previously generating around ₹10 lakh annually, the newly upgraded Balvatika is expected to earn ₹40 lakh per year, with AMC receiving 27% of revenue while the private partner manages operations.

This carnival is more than just a play area—it’s a vibrant mix of adventure, learning, and entertainment for all ages. Don’t miss your chance to explore the all-new Balvatika!
