Gyanodaya aims to explore new ideas and techniques to make education more engaging, inclusive, and future-ready. It will help teachers across India and beyond to become better educators by using creative teaching tools, digital platforms, and research-based methods.

The centre will work on developing training programs, workshops, and new learning materials. It will also promote the use of technology and AI in classrooms to make education more modern and accessible.

According to IIM Kozhikode, Gyanodaya will support teachers, students, and education leaders. The goal is to prepare them for 21st-century learning, where creativity, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence are as important as traditional subjects.

Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, said that Gyanodaya reflects the institute’s vision to lead in educational excellence and innovation. He added that true learning must touch the head, heart, and hands — meaning it should develop knowledge, values, and practical skills together.

The launch of Gyanodaya is a big step toward transforming the way education is delivered in India. It also supports the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which encourages creative and student-friendly teaching methods.

With this new centre, IIM Kozhikode hopes to become a global leader in educational innovation and help shape the future of learning.
