Ahmedabad, 28th June 2025: Zydus School for Excellence, Vejalpur, held its ceremonial ‘Investiture Ceremony’, marking an important occasion to confer responsibilities upon the newly elected student council.

The ceremony was presided over by Shri. Rohit Chaudhari, Ahmedabad City District Education Officer, as the esteemed Guest of Honour.
The Guest of Honour, Shri Chaudhari, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. He spoke about Project Saarthi, an initiative introduced to confidentially address students’ and teachers’ concerns, aiming to support both academic and administrative challenges with a strong emphasis on mental well-being. Highlighting the value of resilience, he urged everyone to adopt a never-give-up attitude, quoting Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s powerful words: “Koshish karne walon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti.” He also advised parents not to pressurize children solely for marks, but to encourage them in their areas of strength and always be their strongest support system.
His words resonated deeply with the students, faculty and the parents, leaving a lasting impression and motivating everyone to strive for excellence in all pursuits.
Following this, the ceremony commenced on a solemn note with the Guest of Honour, Shri. Chaudhari presenting the prestigious flag and sash to the newly elected Student Council, marking the official transfer of duties from the outgoing members. The Head Boy and Head Girl stood tall with dignity as they received this honour from the Principal, Mrs. Alka Murthy.
The oath-taking ceremony witnessed the newly elected student council members pledging to fulfill their duties with sincerity and dedication.
It was a proud moment for the parents of the office bearers, as they were invited to pin badges on their wards, marking the beginning of a new journey as leaders.
With flags raised high and heads held tall, the ceremony concluded with the rendition of the School Song, followed by the National Anthem.
