Peppa Pig Welcomes Baby Sister Evie!

Peppa Pig’s family just got a little bigger — Mummy Pig has given birth to a baby girl named Evie!
The news was shared on UK TV show Good Morning Britain by entertainment reporter Richard Arnold. He said Daddy Pig told him about the happy news early in the morning and even shared some baby pictures.
Evie is named after Mummy Pig’s aunt, and she is the newest member of the Pig family. Peppa, who is four, and her younger brother George, who is two, are now big siblings.
Back in February, Mummy Pig announced she was expecting another baby. She showed her baby bump and a scan picture during a live broadcast from Peppatown. She said she was excited, although a little nervous about having three young children at home.
Peppa and George were curious and couldn’t wait to meet their new sibling. They kept asking questions like how big the baby was and whether it liked muddy puddles and dinosaurs!
Fans can look forward to seeing baby Evie in a special episode this autumn (northern hemisphere).
Peppa Pig first aired in 2004 and is now shown in 180 countries. The show has been translated into 40 languages and has inspired books, toys, and even theme parks. Peppa’s world is now worth over A$2 billion.
