The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 board examination results for 2025 today, recording an overall pass percentage of 88.39%. This reflects a modest increase from last year’s 87.33%.

Out of 16.9 lakhstudents who registered, 14.96 lakhsuccessfully passed. Girls once again outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 91.52%compared to 85.12%for boys. The transgender category recorded a 100% pass rate.
Among the regions, Vijayawadatopped the chart with a 99.60%pass rate, followed by Trivandrum and Chennai. In terms of school performance, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs)and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs)continued their strong performance, scoring above the national average.
To download the marksheet, students need their roll number, school number, and admit card ID. CBSE has also activated counseling helplines for students needing emotional or academic support post-results.
