In a remarkable display of talent, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made cricket history by scoring a rapid 101 runs from 38 balls for the Rajasthan Royals against the Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on April 28, 2025. His century, achieved in just 35 balls, stands as the second-fastest in IPL history and the quickest by an Indian player.
Suryavanshi’s explosive innings included 11 sixes and seven fours, contributing significantly to a 166-run opening partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal. This formidable stand enabled the Royals to chase down a target of 209 runs in just 15.5 overs, securing an eight-wicket victory and ending their five-match losing streak.
