Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) canceled the affiliation of 14 schools in Gujarat, including four in Ahmedabad. This means these schools cannot admit new students, but current students can continue their studies.

The affected schools in Ahmedabad are DLA Academy of Little People, The New Tulip International School, Nirman High School, and Delhi Public School (Hirpur). CBSE took this step after inspections found that some schools had issues like incorrect student records and not meeting infrastructure requirements.

Losing CBSE affiliation is a serious matter, as it affects students’ education and future. Schools can regain their status if they fix the problems and follow CBSE rules.

Students and parents are now being advised to check the affiliation status of their schools. This incident reminds us how important it is for schools to follow all rules to provide a good education.
