PM Modi Inaugurates Global Investors Summit in Bhopal

On February 24, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit 2025’ in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The two-day summit aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a leading destination for global investments.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi emphasized India’s growing economic optimism, citing statements from the World Bank and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) that highlight India’s potential as a global economic leader. He noted that Madhya Pradesh, with its rich agricultural and mineral resources, is poised to become one of India’s top five states by GDP.
The summit features sectoral discussions on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, transport, logistics, and tourism, aiming to attract significant investments. PM Modi also launched Madhya Pradesh’s new industrial policies, unveiling over 18 policies related to industries, exports, MSMEs, and startups.
The event has attracted participants from over 60 countries, international organizations, and more than 300 industry leaders from India, underscoring the state’s commitment to fostering a robust business environment.
