126 Tigers Dead in 2021, the Highest in a Decade

A total of 126 tiger deaths were recorded in 2021, the highest in a decade. According to the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), till December 29, 2021, around 60 big cats were the victims of poachers, accidents, and animal conflicts outside the protected areas.
